CAUTION:

Connect the positive (+) cable 

1

 (red

cable) first, and then the negative (–) cable

 (black cable) to the battery as shown.

A For RX10K, RX10MK, RX10MSK
B Except for RX10K, RX10MK, RX10MSK

Avoid touching wrenches to the ground
of the insulator plate on the muffler when
tightening terminal nuts. (Insulate
wrench with tape.)

D

Never hammer the battery terminals when
connecting the cable terminals to the bat-
tery.

D

Make sure battery cables are connected
properly. Reversing the cables can seri-
ously damage the electrical system.

Install the battery cover onto the battery.

Install the battery band

9.

Install the air cleaner.
