Specifies the original key of the selected sample.
The original key is the key (note) that will play the sample at
the pitch at which it was originally recorded.
[Knob 1] selects the original key.

Individually sets the volume of each voice in a Sample Kit
Voice.

PAN

Individually sets the pan position of each voice in a Sample

PLAY MODE

[Settings] FORWARD, REVERSE, LOOP,
ATK+LOOP
FORWARD ......... The sample plays from the START
point to the END point.
REVERSE ........... The sample plays in reverse from the
END point to the START point.
LOOP .................. The sample loops repeatedly from
the START point to the END point.
ATK+LOOP ........ After playing from the START(ATCK)
point to the END point, the sample
loops between the START(LOOP)
point and the END point.
Specifies the sample playback mode.

AUDITION
...................................................................... [F4]
The sample will loop between the specified START and
END points while this button is held. This lets you hear pre-
cisely how the settings are affecting the sample.

VOICE (Sample Voice Number)
This is the same parameter as in the Trim page (Page 241).

Sample Information
These are the same as in the Trim page (Page 241).
NOTE
When the target is a Sample Kit Voice, the key
to which the sample being edited is assigned is
displayed in a semitone-increment pitch rela-
tionship to the specified original key note
(PITCH =).
For example, if the original key and the key of
the sample being edited are the same, the pitch
relationship is “PITCH = 0” and the sample will
play at the originally recorded pitch.
If the key to which the sample is assigned is
one semitone higher the original key, then the
pitch relationship is “PITCH = +1” and the sam-
ple will sound one semitone higher than the
original key.
