UTIL

Deleting Files

The “Delete” function lets you remove unnecessary files from a floppy disk.

1. In UTILITY mode, select

“02: Delete”.

When you press the

START/STOP

key,

the name of the first file on the disk will
appear in the LCD.

2. Select a file.

Using the

FILE DATA

keys, select a file

to delete.

Note:

You can only delete files created on

the MDF3 (or the MDF2) or MDR files cre-
ated by the QX3.

3. Press the START/STOP key.

When you are sure of your selection,
press the

START/STOP

key. The MDF3

will delete the file, and the name of the
next file in order will appear in the LCD.

Note:

If you press the

START/STOP

key at

this time, the MDF3 will delete that file as
well. Be very careful not to delete important
files! If you want, you can now select a new
file to delete; or press any of the mode keys
