Rear brake lever adjustment

The rear brake lever free play should be 0.5 ~
2 mm.

1. Loosen the locknut.

2. Turn the adjusting bolt in direction

to in-

crease free play, and in direction

to de-

crease free play.

3. Tighten the locknut.

If correct free play cannot be obtained, ask a
Yamaha dealer to make that adjustment.

Rear brake pedal height adjustment

NOTE:

Adjust the rear brake before inspecting the rear
brake pads.

The top of the brake pedal should be positioned
54 mm above the top of the footrest. If not, ask a
Yamaha dealer to adjust it.
