Replace the battery if there are differences of
0.025 or more on the specific gravity of each
cell’s electrolyte after recharging.

• Filler caps

Rinse off any electrolyte from the battery
case and wipe the battery dry prior to
installation.

• Trolling speed

Trolling speed:
1,600–1,800 r/min
Checking steps: (Watercraft on water)
• Start the engine and allow it to warm up
for a 15 minutes.
• Check the engine trolling speed using the
tachometer of the multifunction meter or
using the Yamaha Diagnostic System.
