NOTE:

Install the ground lead terminals

and

shown.

Pass the PTT motor lead

through the

hole

in the clamp bracket

(STBD).

Fasten the PTT motor lead

to the

clamp bracket

with a plastic ties

Fasten the PTT motor lead

and trim

sensor lead

with the plastic ties

10. Apply grease to the grease nipples until it

comes out from the areas

Adjusting the trim sensor cam (R
model)

Tilt the outboard motor to the fully down
position.

Loosen the trim sensor cam screw

Adjust the trim sensor cam

so that the

trim sensor setting resistance is within
specification.

NOTE:

• To decrease the resistance, turn the trim

sensor cam in direction

• To increase the resistance, turn the trim

sensor cam in direction

Tighten the trim sensor cam screw

the specified torque.

NOTE:

Check the trim sensor setting resistance
again after tightening the trim sensor cam
screw
