Remove the ignition coil (TCI unit).

Connect the pocket tester (

× 1k) to the

secondary terminal.

7. Air gap

Measure the thickness between the

magnet rotor and TCI unit.

TCI unit air gap:
0.4–0.6 mm (0.0157–0.0236 in)

Replace the TCI unit.
