Front brake lever free play adjustment

NOTE:
Before adjusting the brake, inspect the front
brake shoes.

The front brake lever free play should be adjust-
ed to 5 ~ 8 mm at the brake lever pivot. If the
free play is incorrect, adjust as follows:

1. Remove the V-belt case air filter cover by

removing the screws and bolts. (See page
8-39 for removal and installation proce-
dures.)

2. Remove the front fender by removing the

screws and bolts.
