13. When all required DTMF memories are filled to your satisfaction, press the
PTT
switch to save the settings and exit to normal operation
To send the telephone number:
1. Press the [
F
] key, then press the [

DTMF
)] key to activate the DTMF Autodialer. The
“ MEM MEM

MEM ” indication display will appear in the display for a mo-
ment.
2. While the DTMF Autodialer is activated, first press the
PTT
switch, then press the numerical key ([ 1
] through [
9
]) corre-
sponding to the DTMF memory string you wish to send. Once the string begins, you
may release the
PTT switch, as the transmitter will be held “on the air” until the DTMF
string is completed.
3. To disable the DTMF Autodialer, press [ F
]

cation will appear in the display for a moment.
While the DTMF Autodialer is activated, the “ ” icon will ap-
pear at the lower left corner on the LCD
You can change the DTMF Autodialer sending speed, using Set Mode
Item 16:

You can also set a longer delay between the time you press the numerical key (correspond-
ing to the DTMF memory string; with
PTT switch pressed) and the instant when the first
DTMF digit is sent, using Set Mode Item 15:
