3. Press the [

#VFO

] key to save the new setting and return to normal oper-

ation.

4. Press the

F

key, then press the [

#VFO

] key to start scanning.

5. When scanning encounters a signal strong enough to open the squelch,

the scanning will halt temporarily; the decimal point of the frequency display

will blink during this “Pause” condition.

6. The scanner will then resume according to the Scan-Resume mode select-

ed in the “RESUME” setting.

7. To cancel scanning, press the

PTT

switch, [▲] or [▼] key.
