c. Check and adjust
1. Adjustment of the front and rear brake

2. Front and rear brake pad check
●Perform the braking operation several times

Place the vehicle on a flat surface.

Assemble in reverse order of disassembly.

• Brake fluid will corrode paint surfaces and
rubber parts, wipe clean if spilled.
• Add brake oil of the same specifications,
otherwise, it will damage the master cylinder.
When checking the brake fluid, the body should be
kept vertical.
To check the amount of brake fluid, rotate the
handlebars until the master cylinder remains level.
DOT certified brake fluid specifi -
cations are recommended
Specifications: DOT4
If you feel the brakes are soft, always
check the brake system for air or oil
leakage.If so, exhaust air or check brake
system.
5.Air release (hydraulic brake system)
Air release steps:
●Add brake fluid to the main cylinder.
●Install the oil cup cap and make sure that no brake
fluid spills.
●Use the appropriate transparent rubber oil line on the
air release bolt of the caliper.
●Place an oil basin at the other open end of the oil line.
●Slowly operate the brake several time.
●After several actions, hold the brake lug tightly (i.e.
when the brake is in action) and do not relax.
●Unscrew the air release bolt and hold the lug to the
bottom.(At this point, hold the brake lug without
relaxing).
●Lock the air release bolt and loosen the handle.
● Repeat the steps 5 to 8 until the air bubbles in the
system are released clean.
Note:
If the air in the system cannot be fully cleared, you can
repeat the above steps after parking the vehicle for
several hours to remove the fine air bubbles that have
been separated from the system.
