If you are using Putty, you can also launch it without parameters, tick the “Serial” radio button and type the
port name in the “Serial line”, as shown in Figure 1. Leave all other settings unchanged.

After connection, you will see the welcome screen of service menu of Device (see Figure 2 on the next page).
If the welcome screen does not appear, make sure that the device is switched into the service mode
and the right serial port name used for the connection.
