NOTE:
The radial and axial deviations between the half couplings must not exceed the values
indicated by the manufacturer. Refer to the motor-pump coupling instruction manuals for more
information.
The figure shows the correct alignment of the coupling.

1.
Reinstall the bottom protection by screwing the bottom fastener.
2.
Insert the ring with the slot facing down and press it against the motor in the axial direction.
3.
Reinstall the top protection and screw the top and side fasteners.

Bearing lubrication
1.
Identify the lubrication type for the unit bearings by reading the last letter of the
identification code:
•
G = with grease, standard
•
O = with oil, optional.
2.
If the lubrication type is grease, the unit is delivered already filled with grease.
NOTE:
The pumps are delivered without oil. The bearing bracket must be filled with oil before
commissioning/start-up.
3.
If the lubrication type is oil, before starting the unit fill:
•
The oil lubricated bearing bracket, see paragraph 6.2.3 or
•
The oiler, optional.
