8 Aspirator speed control
failure Aspirator cannot run at
the required speed
possibly due to an
aspirator or speed
sensor failure. If fault persists contact
your authorized Xtralis
representative. Minor
11 Filter approaching
capacity The air filter is possibly
clogged or the dust
count for the filter is
approaching the
maximum threshold. The filter should be
replaced and the filter
counter reset. Minor
12 Zone setup = factory
defaults The detector
configuration has
reverted to the factory
defaults. Run the ‘Accept Factory
Defaults’ command from
the Device Menu.
If this fault continues
contact your authorized
Xtralis representative.
Urgent
14 Flow sensors = factory
defaults The flow sensor
calibration is corrupt Contact your authorized
Xtralis representative for
a replacement detector. Minor
15 Power supply failure The source supplying
AC power has failed. Check the power supply
and restore. If it is not
indicating a fault check
the wiring. If the fault
persists, contact your
authorized Xtralis
representative. Minor
22 Flow sensor failure The flow sensor has
failed Contact your authorized
Xtralis representative for
a replacement detector. Minor
23 Laser signal too low The detector has
detected smoke levels
cleaner than is
possible/allowed. Contact your authorized
Xtralis representative for
a replacement detector. Urgent
27 AutoLearn aborted AutoLearn has been
cancelled before the
end of the set period.
This may be due to a
Fire condition being
detected during the
learning period. Inspect the Smoke
trends using Xtralis
VSC.
Investigate and
eliminate the causes
and re-run AutoLearn,
or set the alarm
thresholds manually.
Urgent
29 Manufacturer setup
corrupted The manufacturer setup
on the reporting device
has not been altered
from the factory defaults
or has reverted to the
factory defaults. Contact your authorized
Xtralis representative for
a replacement detector. Urgent
