4.11 Protection system of the battery/device
The tool is equipped with the battery
protection system. The system
automatically cuts the power supply to the
device and prolongs the battery pack
lifespan. The tool will automatically stop
working under these conditions:
Overload protection
When the battery is operated in a manner
that causes it to draw an abnormally high
current, the tool automatically stops without
any indication. In this situation, turn the tool
off and stop the application that caused the
tool to become overloaded. Then restart the
tool.
Overheat protection
When the tool or battery are overheated, the
tool stops automatically. In this situation, let
the tool/battery cool down before turning the
tool on again.
Overdischarge protection
When the battery capacity is not enough, the
tool stops automatically. In this case, remove
the battery from the tool and charge the
battery.
The battery does not recharge
In case the battery does not recharge after
connecting to the compatible charger, please
check the following:

Contact voltage
•
Proper contact between the battery
and charger terminals
To prolong the battery pack lifespan, it is
recommended to charge the battery before its
full depletion. Always proceed to charge the
battery if you notice your power tool
performance dropping down.
4.12 Battery storage
Store the battery pack at dry areas at the
ambient temperature within 10 °C to 30 °C and
protect it from direct sun light, humidity and
frost. The battery pack that has been stored at
the temperature lower than 0 °C for longer
than 60 minutes should be adapted to the
optimal work temperature before using again.
Longtime battery pack storage at temperature
below 0 °C may result in reduced performance
and battery cell lifespan.
