6. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
SWITCH TRIGGER
The main switch ( 5 ) is used to start and stop the sander after when depressed and released. It
also offers the possibility of locking (

) in the "ON" position so that it is not necessary to keep the
main trigger depressed when the sander should remain on for a longer period.
SPEED ADJUSTMENT
To regulate the speed depending on the type of treated workpiece and the type of belt used, the
device is equipped with a speed adjusting dial ( 3 ), which can be set within the range of values
1–6, where each value corresponds to a specific speed setup.
FRONT HANDLE
The front handle ( 2 ) is designed for a firm grip on the sander for maximum work comfort and
safety. The handle can be further adjusted to the required position according to the operator
preference.
MAIN HANDLE
Hold the sander firmly by its main handle ( 6 ) when sanding.
ALIGNMENT ADJUSTING KNOB
By turning the adjusting knob (

), it is possible to achieve optimal alignment and centering of the
sanding belt on the base ( 14 ) of the sander.
LOCKING LEVER
The locking lever ( 12 ) is used for easy installation or replacement of the sanding belt without the
need for additional adjustment tools or wrenches.
EXHAUST SLOT
The exhaust slot ( 9 ) is used to connect a dust bag ( 1 ) or a vacuum cleaner to remove sanding
dust.
DIRECTION OF ROTATION MARK
The direction of rotation mark ( 11 ) indicates which direction of rotation of the sanding belt and the
roller should be followed.
SANDING BELT
The sanding belt ( 13 ) is a consumable which is compatible with a belt sander and can be
purchased in many sizes, designs, types and grits for optimal quality of the finished surface.
