Capacitance Measurement
The capacitance ranges are: 2nF, 200 nF, and 100
μ
F.
To test for capacitance, perform the following steps:
1. Insert the multipurpose socket into the HzV

and mA terminals.
2. Set the rotary switch to an appropriate measure-
ment position in the F range.
3. Insert the capacitor to be tested into the
corresponding jack of the multipurpose socket. The
measured value is shown on the display.

WARNING: To avoid damage to the Meter or to
the devices under test, disconnect circuit power
and discharge all the high-voltage capacitors
before measuring capacitance. Use the DC
Voltage Measurement to confirm that the
capacitor is discharged.

WARNING: To avoid harm to you, please do not
attempt to input voltages higher than 60V DC or
30V rms AC.
