3. Insert the temperature probe into the corresponding
jack of the multipurpose socket. The room
temperature value is shown on the display.
4. Place the temperature probe’s tip to the object
being measured. The measured value of the object
being measured shows on the display after a few
seconds.
When performing a temperature measurement please
note the following;
• When the temperature measurement has been
completed, remove the temperature probe from the
multipurpose socket and remove the multipurpose
socket from the input terminals.
Transistor Measurement
To measure a transistor, perform the following steps:
1. Insert the multipurpose socket into the HzV Ω Ω
Ω Ω Ω
and mA terminals.
2. Set the rotary switch to hFE .
3. Insert the NPN or PNP type transistor to be tested
into the corresponding jack of the multipurpose
socket.
4. The measured nearest transistor value is shown on
the display.
5. When the transistor measurement has been
completed, remove the multipurpose socket from
the input terminals.
