IP Filtering (IP Address Restriction)
1. Open your Web browser and enter the IP address of the printer in the address field. Press Enter to
open CentreWare Internet Services.
2. Click the
Properties
tab.
3. Enter the system administrator User Name and Password (default
admin
,
1111
) if prompted.
4. Click the
Properties
Tab.
5. Click the
Security
folder.
6. Select
IP Filtering
.
7. In either the IPv4 area or the IPv6 area, complete the following steps.
Note: IPv4 is the traditional (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) address space used with TCP/IP networks.
a. To allow universal, unrestricted access to the printer, clear the
Enabled
check box.
b. To restrict access to specific IP Addresses and Subnet Masks:

Click the
Enabled
check box.
• Click
Add
or
Edit
to add or edit an IP address from which you intend to accept jobs. Click
Apply
.
Note: IP filtering will not work until at least one IP address has been added. This prevents turning off
ALL access to the printer.
• Click Delete to delete an IP address. Click Apply .
8. Click Apply when done.
9. Send a test job.
