EnergyWise Integration
•
Cisco EnergyWise is an energy management protocol for monitoring, controlling, and reporting the
energy use of information technology and facilities equipment. Cisco EnergyWise enables companies
to measure and manage the power consumption of network infrastructure and network-attached
devices, thereby reducing power consumption to realize increased cost savings, and potentially
affecting any network-connected device. Cisco EnergyWise is supported through Xerox
®
ConnectKey
®
enabled multifunction printers.

As mentioned previously, Xerox
®
ConnectKey
®
Technology has been adopted as the basis for
development of the 7220/7225. The intent is to provide an opportunity for feature coherency across the

are some differences that are unique from the other ConnectKey enabled devices because of the change
from the DMP controller. The following is the specific differences from the 7100 to the 7200 Series.
