2. Log in as Admin.

3. Touch D Deevviiccee >> A Appppss >> FFaaxx.
4. Touch FFaaxx FFoorrw waarrddiinngg >> FFaaxx FFoorrw waarrddiinngg.
5. Select O Offff, RReecceeiivvee O Onnllyy, SSeenndd O Onnllyy, or SSeenndd & & RReecceeiivvee.
6. Touch A Adddd EEm maaiill. To enter an email address, use the touch screen keypad, or select a contact from the Address
Book.
7. To add a subject line, touch SSuubbjjeecctt, enter your subject line text, then touch O OKK.
8. To add a filename for attachments, touch A Attttaacchhm meenntt, then enter a filename.
9. To change the file format for attachments, touch the current format extension, then select a new format.
Note: The default file format is ..ppddff.
10. To save the settings, touch O OKK.
11. For the new settings to take effect, press the H Hoom mee button. At the prompt, touch RReessttaarrtt N Noow w.
Printing a Secure Fax
When the Fax Secure Receive option is enabled, all faxes that the device receives are held in the Job list until you
enter a passcode. After you enter the passcode, the faxes are released and printed.
Note: Before you can receive a Secure Fax, ensure that the Secure Fax Receive feature is enabled. For details,
refer to the
System Administrator Guide at www.xerox.com/office/VLB71XXdocs .
To print a secure fax:
1. At the printer control panel, press the H Hoom mee button, then touch JJoobbss.
2. Touch PPeerrssoonnaall & & SSeeccuurree JJoobbss.
3. Touch your assigned private folder.
4. Enter your passcode, then touch O OKK.
5. Select a job to print, or touch PPrriinntt A Allll.
6. To return to the Home screen, press the H Hoom mee button.
Sending a Fax Manually
You can use the Manual Send feature to enable the fax modem speaker temporarily. This feature is helpful to dial
international numbers, or to use phone systems that require you to wait for a specific audio tone.
To send a fax manually:
1. At the printer control panel, press the H Hoom mee button, then touch FFaaxx.
2. Adjust the fax settings as needed.
