Copying Mixed Size Originals
Applications
Produce copies of mixed size originals on either the
original sizes or a common size automatically.
Solution
1. Load the originals in the Document Feeder. The
originals must be the same width.
2. Press Image Adjustment Tab and press Original Input
button.
3. Press the Mixed Size Originals button. This button
must be pressed for the feature to work correctly.
Valid mixed sizes will be displayed on the screen.
4. Press Save.
5. Make your desired programming selections from the
Basic Copying Tab (Output, 2-sided Copy,
Reduction/Enlargement, and Paper Supply).
Touch the screen to make your selections.
Use Auto Paper to produce the same size output as the
original mixed sizes.
Use Auto% to reduce the original images to a fit on a
single size of paper.
Use the keypad to enter the number of copy sets.
6. Press the Start ( ) button to process you document.
HINT Use Mixed Size Originals (MSO) to create and staple
copies that are the same width, but different lengths.
