Improving Image Quality
Typical Application
Create copies using the best possible image quality.
Solution
1. Load your originals.
2. Make your desired programming selections from the
Basic Copying Tab.
Use the keypad to enter the number of copy sets.
3. Press the Image Adjustment Tab then press the Image
Quality button.
4. Press the Original Type button that best describes
your originals and then press Save.
Normal - This defaul setting provides excellent
copies for most types of originals.
Magazine Photo - Improves the copy quality of a
magazine with pictures or text with graphics.
Text - Provides the sharpest text and line output for
originals that are primarily text and lines.
Photo - Use for photographs without text or graphics.
Lighten/Darken and Background Suppression options
are also available on this screen.
Background Suppression automatically reduces or
eliminates the background from colored originals.
Lighten/Darken provides controls to adjust the
lightness or darkness of the output.
5. Press the Start ( ) button.
