Problem Solving

Xerox 700 Digital Color Press

Refer to 062-210.

Cause: The Tray 1 malfunctioned.
Remedy: Check paper loaded in the Tray 1, and power-cycle the machine. If the machine is
not improved by performing the relevant remedy, contact your Xerox Customer Support
Center. Trays other than the Tray 1 can be used.

Cause: The Tray 2 malfunctioned.
Remedy: Check paper loaded in the Tray 2, and power-cycle the machine. If the machine is
not improved by performing the relevant remedy, contact your Xerox Customer Support
Center. Trays other than the Tray 2 can be used.

Cause: The Tray 3 malfunctioned.
Remedy: Check paper loaded in the Tray 3, and power-cycle the machine. If the machine is
not improved by performing the relevant remedy, contact your Xerox Customer Support
Center. Trays other than the Tray 3 can be used.

Cause: The Tray 5 (bypass) malfunctioned.
Remedy: Power-cycle the machine. If the machine is not improved by performing the
relevant remedy, contact your Xerox Customer Support Center.

Cause: (Optional) Paper Tray 6 malfunctioned.
Remedy: Check the paper loaded in Tray 6. Power off and then power on the machine. If
the tray errors are not fixed by performing the relevant remedy, contact the Customer
Support Center.

Cause: Paper Tray 5 (Bypass) malfunctioned.
Remedy: Power-cycle the machine. If the tray errors are not fixed by performing the
relevant remedy, contact the Customer Support Center.

Cause: Optional Trays 6 and 7 malfunctioned.
Remedy: Check the paper setting of paper trays 6 and 7 and power-cycle the machine. If
the trays errors are not fixed by performing the relevant remedy, contact the Customer
Support Center. Trays other than 6 and 7 may be used in the interim.
