Select General in the directory tree.

Displays the Default Document Filing Policy: 

•

Append to Existing File — adds the new file to the 
previously scanned folder in the specified repository.

•

Overwrite Existing File — overwrites the folder and file 
that were previously scanned with the new folder and file.

•

Do Not Save — matches the document name for the 
folder specified in the template.

•

Rename New File — generates an alphanumeric name for 
the folder based on the document name specified in the 
template. The folder names increment accordingly when 
more documents are scanned to this location. You can scan 
up to 999 times with a particular template using Rename 
New File. After that number, an error sheet is generated by 
the Document Centre.
