Configuration via Serial Console or Telnet

In this section, the basic of console line configuration will be described on below.

Introduction

Serial Console

Check the connectivity of the RS-232 cable. Connect the male 9-pin end of console port of the

router and connect the female end to a serial port of your computer.

Start your terminal access program by VT100 terminal emulation with the following parameters:

Flow-control

Press the SPACE key until the login screen appears. When you see the login screen, you can logon
to Router.
