7.2 Tape Status: XenData Protected

The system will put a tape into a ‘XenData Protected’ state if there is a problem associated with a tape
cartridge that must be corrected before additional data is written to that cartridge. The cartridge is identified
as

‘XenData Protected’ in the left navigation pane of Windows Explorer, as illustrated below.

The problem may be corrected by selecting ‘Check Filesystem’ for the tape cartridge, as illustrated below.
