Basic Setup

Charging the Transmitter

16

To set up a new model, proceed as follows:

1.  Connect the servos with the receiver according to the illustration on page 12.
2. Switch the transmitter on and afterwards the model.
3. Check whether all servos and rudder move in the right direction. If necessary,

reverse the channels in the REV menu.

4. Check whether all mixer ( A, V and D model) work properly and adjust them if

necessary.

5. Set all trimmings to neutral and check whether all servo horns are mounted in a 90°

angle to the servos. Adjust the mid-position of aileron, elevator and rudder with the
linkage rods.

6.  Check the maximal servo deflections of all servos. If more deflection is needed than

actually adjusted, mount the linkage rods further outwards on the servo horns. If too
much deflection is adjusted, mount the linkage rods further inwards on the servo
horns.

The transmitter must only be charged with the optional charging cable if it is run with a
9.6V NI-MH battery. Proceed as follows:
1. Switch the transmitter off (as long as the transmitter is switched

on, it will not be charged).

2. Connect the charging cable.

To extend the durability of the transmitter battery,
do not charge it for more than five hours!
