Building Notes: The holes are used to determine belt tension. Holes closer to the front provide a tighter belt and holes closer to the
rear provide a looser belt. Start by using the 3
rd
hole from the rear.
The correct belt tension will be such that if you push on only one side of the tail rotor belt, it will deflect about ¼”. Keep in mind that
during initial flights, the belt will stretch slightly and you’ll need to reset tension by moving this tensioner.
