AC appliance
will not
operate;
audible alarm
is sounding.
Battery has discharged
to 10.5 V.
Inverter has
overheated due to poor
ventilation or
excessively warm
environmental
conditions.
Turn the AC Outlet On/Off switch
off and recharge the
XPower
Powerpack
.
Turn the AC Outlet On/Off switch
off and allow the
XPower
Powerpack
to cool for 15 minutes or
more. Clear blocked fan opening or
remove objects covering the unit,
then restart the
XPower Powerpack
.
Move to a cooler environment.
Over-
temperature
shutdown
Inverter has
overheated due to poor
ventilation or
excessively warm
environmental
conditions.
Turn off the AC Outlet On/Off
switch, and let the
XPower
Powerpack
cool down.
Alarm sounds
Internal battery is
nearly discharged.
(11.0 V).
If you ignore this
warning, the
XPower
Powerpack
automatically switches
off when the battery
reaches 10.5 V.
Turn the AC outlet ON/OFF switch
OFF and recharge the
XPower
Powerpack
.
Run time is
less than
expected.
Internal battery is not
fully charged.
AC appliance power
consumption is higher
than expected.
Recharge using the AC Charger,
until green
Charging Status
light is
steady.
Check AC appliance power or
wattage rating (or current draw for
12 V DC appliances) and compare
with
Table 3-1 on page 3–5
and
Table 3-2 on page 3–9
.
