To change the convergence parameter:
1. Click S1 16 times.
2. Click S2 one time to confirm you want to set the convergence parameter.
3. Verify that only the left green LED is illuminated.
4. Click S1 N times, where N is the convergence parameter you wish to change to. Valid
convergence settings are from 1255.
5. Click S2 one time to confirm the new setting.
How to enable/disable radio frequency jamming detection
For highsecurity applications, TMD comes equipped with RF jamming detection. If an adversary
attempts to jam the system using RF interference, the nodes and processing unit will detect the
interference and indicate the problem via Relay B.
To enable/disable jamming detection:
1. Click S1 12 times.
2. Click S2 one time to confirm you want to enable/disable jamming detection.
3. Verify that only the yellow and red LEDs are illuminated.
4. Click S1 one time to disable jamming detection, or two times to enable it.
5. Click S2 one time to confirm the new setting.
How to enable/disable LEDs
LEDs can be enabled or disabled on each node or processing unit.
To enable or disable the LED indicators:
6. Click S1 three times.
7. Click S2 one time to confirm you want to set the LED.
8. Verify that only the orange and right green LEDs are illuminated.
9. Click S1 one time to disable LED indicators, or two times to enable them.
10. Click S2 one time to confirm the new setting.
How to change the node ID (Nodes only)
This will not need to be changed unless you have damaged or lost a node. Each node is programmed with
a unique ID in the range from 1 to the total number of nodes in the sensing network. The default node ID
can be found labeled on the back of the node.
To program the node ID:
1. Click S1 one time on the node.
2. Click S2 one time to confirm you want to set the Node ID.
3. Verify that only the right green LED is illuminated.
4. Click S1 N times, where N is the node ID you wish to set for this particular node.
5. Click S2 one time to confirm the new setting.
