Safety guide
Please read the safety guide before using the product. This information is for your
safety and the protection of the device and devices connected.
You will also find specific safety instructions in the following chapters of this user
manual:
CAUTION Do not cover the heater to prevent overheating.
DANGER During operation, some parts of the device become very hot and
can cause burns.
CAUTION The device must not be used by children under the age of 3. Above
the age of 3 years, only under the continuous supervision of persons who can
assess and understand the associated dangers.
DANGER Never use the device unattended and do not leave it plugged in in
your absence. This also applies to the use of e.g. timers.
DANGER! Short-circuit hazard! A short-circuit could be caused if moisture
enters the product. Never immerse the product into water. Take care that no
liquids enter the casing of the product.
DANGER Do not place the product directly against or under a power outlet.
The device should be at least 10 cm away from objects on all sides. textiles and
structures during operation.
DANGER! Danger of injury! Do not insert any objects or parts of the body into
the openings of the device.
CAUTION The device may only be placed and operated in an upright position
on a flat stable surface.
CAUTION The device must not be operated on voluminous carpets, near
easily flammable textiles and/or containers with easily flammable liquids as well
as gases. There is an acute danger of fire or death.
DANGER Only move the device using the handles on the sides. Never pull on
the cable to move the device, as it could become entangled or, in the worst case,
the device could be knocked over.
