HOW TO PREVENT EMI
Here are some precautions you can take to prevent EMI:
Do not turn on or use hand-held personal communication devices, such as a CB
radio and cellular phone, while your scooter is turned on.
Try not to operate your scooter too close to the transmitters, such as radio or TV
stations and hand-held or mobile two-way radios.
Be aware that adding accessories and/or components, or modifying your scooter in
any way may change its EMI resistance level and may make it more susceptible to
interference from radio wave sources. There is no simple way to evaluate the
effect of such actions on resistance levels of a scooter.
If unintended motion or unintended brake release occurs, turn off your scooter by removing
the key as soon as possible.
