This manual contains important information on how your X-Sense smoke 
detector works. Be sure to read these operating instructions completely 
before installing and using this smoke alarm. If you install this smoke alarm 
for use by others, you must leave this manual (or a copy of it) with the end 
user.

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing our smoke alarm. The performance of this smoke 
alarm complies with the European standard EN 14604: 2005 + AC: 2008 and 
is designed to detect smoke and alert personnel in the vicinity. X-Sense 
products are being improved and the product portfolio is constantly 
expanding. Feel free to visit our website to keep up with the latest from 
X-Sense.

NOTE! 

Before we begin, we want to clarify the diff erence between an 

interconnected smoke alarm and a Wi-Fi connected device with app support.

An interconnected smoke alarm, like the XS01-W, are devices that create 
locally interconnected groups and do not need support from Wi-Fi, apps, or 
cloud services. This means that these devices only forward their own alarm in 

the connected group and cannot be connected to apps via Wi-Fi.

The product described in this manual is the XS01-WT, which uses your local 
Wi-Fi network to provide you with the option of a remote smoke warning via
