QA MODE
The QA measurement mode is the main mode of operation. Sample measurements are compared
to stored standards and the results displayed. The QA measurement procedure requires three
measurements for each sample. Measurements are taken at various locations on the sample to
achieve average data values. Stored measurement data can then be uploaded for further
analysis.
QA Mode Icons
A description of the icons found in the QA mode is shown below.
Icon Description
Access project detail, selection, and creation screen. Arrow points to current project
selected.
Access standard detail, selection, and edit screen. Arrow points to current standard
selected.
Exits the averaging measurement sequence for the current sample.
Toggle between L*C*h°, Gloss and Y data views.
Toggle between the current standard and sample measurement screen.
QA Measurement
To perform a QA measurement:
1.
From the Main screen, use the Navigation control to move the highlight square to the
Measure mode icon.
2.
Tap the Select control to access the main measure screen.
3.
From the Measure screen, use the Up or Down navigation buttons to move the highlight focus
to the Measurement Mode icon .
4.
Tap the Select or Right button to access the measurement mode selection area.
5.
Use the Up or Down navigation buttons to move the highlight focus to the QA mode.
6.
Tap the Select button. An arrow (

) appears next to the QA mode and the screen returns to
the measure screen.
