STABILISATION WITH SAND BALLASTS
One Sand Ballast Set consists of two different sizes — 4 small for
the inside of the Tubes and 4 large for the outside of the Tubes.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you have ordered Water Ballasts, you can also
fill them with sand or gravel by removing the Water Bladder
(inner tube) from the Cover

Step 1:
Fill the Sand Ballasts with sand or gravel (not water since
the Sand Ballasts are not water-tight)

Step 2:
Now connect the Sand Ballasts to the clips on the Tube
endings. The smaller Sand Ballasts are attached on the
inside of the Tube endings and the larger Sand Ballast
Sacks are attached on the outside of the Tube endings.
The underside is recognisable by the rubber coating.
Depending upon the wind conditions, the lighter, inner
sacks may be adequate for securing the tent

Step 3:
Tighten the straps on the clips so that the Sand Ballasts
prevent the tent from rising. Thus, optimal stability is
achieved.
