8. Service & Maintenance
When working on the vibration motors, they must be safely disconnected from the
electrical network. Proceed as follows:
1. Turn power off
2. Secure against being switched on again
3. Check that there is no voltage
4. Let the motor cool off
5. Ground the motor
8.1. Regular maintenance work
• The surfaces of the devices must be kept free of dirt deposits in order to ensure
adequate cooling.
• The connection cable must be checked for chafe marks and, if necessary, the
cause must be eliminated.
• Fastening screws must be checked for secure fit and tightened if necessary.
• The condition of the seals in the terminal box cover and under the protective
covers must be checked once a year in order to guarantee that the motor is
water tight
The fastening screws must be retightened after approx. two hours of operation
(after commissioning). Further checks should be carried out daily.
