Operation
The MReX-5B will illuminate the red front panel LED while transmitting. Prior to transmitting an
audible beep will be heard.
Under normal operation, on start-up there is a sign-on message sent out the 3.3V TTL serial port. 10
seconds after power is applied. The sign on message indicates the firmware revision, serial number
other software related information.
Commands may be issued and firmware updated from this 3.3V TTL serial port. Messages and fre-
quency can be preconfigured on order, or a serial may be purchased for qualified end user configur-
ation.
Replace AA cells if LED does not light or sounder does not operate.
Ensure an antenna is attached before transmitting.
