Advanced Operation

DTMF Encoding

The KG-S88G features dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) encoding. This enables the

radio to perform a number of useful signaling operations.

Using the DTMF Keypad

The KG-S88G has a full function DTMF keypad. While pressing the [PTT] key to

transmit, press the key on the keypad that corresponds to the DTMF tone that you

wish to send. The number keypad on the radio corresponds to DTMF codes as follows:
