10.1.10 Stereo
Your 2740 will be equipped with a Fusion
®
MS-UD750 marine entertainment center with (4) JL Audio
speakers, remote and Bluetooth. The unit is mounted on the helm dash panel. Two speakers are mounted
in the front of the forward bow seating, and the remaining two are installed port and starboard cockpit. You
can control the unit using the faceplate. Power is supplied to the stereo through an accessory fuse block,
therefore the “house” battery switch must be in the “ON” position to use the unit and the memory wire is
connected to a 24 hour circuit.

10.3 Operation of Optional Equipment
10.3.1 Entertainment Center with Grill
Magma Newport Gourmet Series Gas Grill grills quickly, evenly and disassembles easily for cleaning. Uses
inexpensive, disposable 1 lb. propane cylinders. Remove from storage and place in mounting brackets on top
of gunnel. Make sure the unit is secure before lighting.
10.3.2 Wiper with Rinse
The windshield wiper switch allows you to operate the wiper and rinse on your windshield the switch has
an intermertimt setting and also a setting for slow speed and fast speed. To activate the wiper rotate the
knob clockwise. There are three settings: Intermittent, Slow, and Fast.
To activate the rinse, the freshwater rocker switch located on the dash must be in the on position. Push the
wiper switch knob in at anytime the wiper is motion.
10.3.3 Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Lifting Eye
The lifting eye option allows the boat to be lifted from the stern (port and starboard transom eyes) as well
as the heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyes located on the port and starboard bow deck. When lifting from
these points your straps or cables must be attached so they are vertical and in line above these four points.
Spreader bars are required when lifting from a single point. The lifting eyes are a temporary means for
transfering your boat to and from the water. These are not designed for storage on divats or lifts.
10.3.4 Outriggers
Outriggers enhance the fishability of your catamaran and can be a great asset when hunting a trophy catch.
World Cat offers Taco™ outriggers as an option. The units are mounted on the fiberglass hardtop and
operated using the handles above and outboard of the walkthrough. Use the information provided in section
7.6 to maintain the aluminum on the outriggers and grease the telescoping joints frequently to prevent
damage from salt spray.
10.3.5 SureShade Pull-Out Boat Shade
The SureShade is mounted underneath the fiberglass hardtop in the aft cockpit of the vessel. To operate the
shade, make sure the vessel has come to a complete rest. You will need to rotate the hand crank located in
the starboard aft upper corner of the hardtop. This crank extends and retracts the shade to the extended
and closed position. The manufacturer recommends that this shade not be extended or retracted while the
vessel is in motion. Please make any adjustments only when the vessel has come to a complete rest.
!!! CAUTION
SureShade pull-out boat shade is not to be operated while boat is underway. Damage to boat, or
personal injury, could occur if shade is extended or retracted while underway.
