If voltage reading is normal, the element is bad (Image 23). To verify the element is bad use a digital Volt/Ohm meter in the
resistance setting (Omega symbol Ω). With the dryer

, locate the terminal block. Check the 2 large

WHITE

wires leading to

the element . For continuity, the meter should have a low reading or produce a beep, if the meter reads zero or doesn’t produce a
beep, the element will need to be replaced.
