Adjusting.Tailstock

To.position.tailstock.along.length.of.bed,.do.these.

steps:

1..

Loosen tailstock lock lever (see 

Figure.17

) and move 

tailstock to desired position along bed.

2..

Tighten tailstock lock lever to secure tailstock in 

position.

 

Note:

 

The clamp nut underneath the tailstock (see 

Figure

 

18

) will require occasional adjusting to 

ensure proper clamping pressure of the tailstock to 

the bed. Turn this lock nut in small increments to 

fine tune the clamping pressure as needed.

The tailstock on this lathe is equipped with a cam-action 

clamping system to secure it to the lathe bed. When the 

lever is tightened, a locking plate lifts up underneath the 

bed and secures the tailstock in place. The tailstock can 

be positioned anywhere along the lathe bed.
