Assembly
Before beginning the assembly process, refer to
Items.
Needed.for.Setup
and gather everything you need.
Ensure all parts have been properly cleaned of any
heavy-duty rust-preventative applied at the factory (if
applicable). Be sure to complete all steps in the assembly
procedure prior to performing the
Test.Run.
or connecting
the machine to power.
To.assemble.machine,.do.these.steps:
1..
Install tailstock lock lever and M6-1 x 17 quill lock
handle, as shown in Figure 8 .
2.. Install tool rest base lock lever and M6-1 x 28 tool
rest lock handle, as shown in
Figure.9
.
3.. Insert tool rest into tool rest base and tighten tool
rest lock handle (see
Figure 10
).
Note:
Unless workpiece clearance is an issue, always
install the larger of the (2) tool rests included with
this machine to give yourself more room to work.
