Smart Thermostat
The Smart Thermostat
function
adjusts the flame height
in accordance
to the difference
between
the set point
temperature
and the actual
room temperature.
As the
room
temperature
gets closer to the set point, the Smart
Function
will
modulate
the flame down.

To adjust
the set temperature,
press
the up
or
down-arrow
keys until the desired
set temperature
is displayed
on the LCD screen.
Key Lock
This function
will lock the keys to avoid unsupervised
operation.

To deactivate
this function,
press the
MODE
and
UP
keys at the same time. The lock icon
will
disappear
from the LCD screen.
Low Battery Power Detection
Receiver
The life span
of the receiver
batteries
depends
upon
various factors:
battery
quality, Humber of appliance
ig-
nitions,
number
of
thermostat
set point changes,
etc.
'Vhen
the receiver
batteries
are low, no "beep"
will
sound from the receiver
when a transmitter
command
is sent. Replace
batteries
when this happens,
Transmitter
The life span of the transmitter
batteries
depends
upon
various
factors:
battery
quality, number
of appliance
ig-
nitions,
number
of thermostat
set point changes,
etc.
Manual
Override
If the
receiver
or
transmitter
batteries
are low or
de-
pleted,
the appliance
can still be turned
on manually.

Move the
receivers
three-position
slider to the
ON
position. This
will
bypass the remote control
feature
of the system
and
the appliance
main
burner
will
turn
on.
