Removing Dasher Motor Cover

Important:
Always place the Ice Cream Maker on
a level flat surface in order to achieve optimum
performance from the built-in compressor.

Before adding or removing parts or during
cleaning, please be sure the power cord
is unplugged.

Hold the dasher motor upside down.

Place dasher stem into dasher motor. (see fig 1)

Place transparent cover over dasher stem with
rectangular opening in cover facing in. (see fig 2)

Ensure transparent cover fits within the groove on
the dasher stem. (see fig 3)

Push transparent cover in ensuring that the
rectangular opening clicks into place underneath
the dasher motor cover lock. (see fig 4)

Place the removable bucket into the fixed bucket
of the compressor housing. Be sure to line up the
grooves of the fixed bucket with the handle stem
of the removable bucket

Line up the dasher motor stem with the dasher in
the bucket, and line up the power pin connectors
on the dasher motor with the receptacle on the
compressor housing. Press down until the dasher
motor is fully seated

Plug the power cord into 120V AC outlet and
turn the timer dial to the desired setting.

Caution:
To protect the compressor, avoid turning
the timer on and off frequently in a short time.
Wait at least five (5) minutes before turning it
on again.

Dasher Motor
Plastic Cover
To remove the Transparent Cover from your Dasher Motor:
1
Hold the Motor upside down with one hand while
grasping the fingers of your other hand on the outside of the plastic
ledge (not in the open gap). See above photo.

Using your thumb, push on
the Motor Housing while slightly pulling the
transparent cover away from the dasher
motor.
Place fingers behind ingredient chute,
not inside the open gap.
