CONNECTED MODULE INSTALLATION
After installing the connected module, install:

Upper air inlet cover
Install the Connected Module
1 Connect the connected module wire harness to the
connected module.
2 Place the connected module onto the dual lock fasteners
on the motor door lock cover.
UPPER - SINGLE OVEN MOTOR DOOR LOCK REMOVAL
WARNING
Disconnect the product from the power source
before starting this procedure.
To remove the single oven or upper oven motor door lock, first
remove:
1 Upper air inlet cover

Control panel
Remove the Motor Door Lock (MDL)
1 Use a T-20 Torx bit to remove the MDL cover mounting
screws.
2 Move the MDL cover and connected module to the side.
3 Use a T-20 Torx bit to remove the MDL mounting screws.
4 Pull the MDL forward and disconnect the wire connectors
from the MDL.
5 Turn the MDL over and disconnect the wire connectors from
the door lock and door unlock switches.
6 Remove the MDL from the unit.
UPPER - SINGLE OVEN MOTOR DOOR LOCK INSTALLATION
After installing the motor door lock on the single oven or upper
oven, install:
1 Control panel

Upper air inlet cover
Install the Motor Door Lock (MDL)
TIP: On the left-hand switch (door lock switch), connect the
white wire to common and the black wire to Normally Open
(NO). On the right-hand switch (door unlocked switch)
connect the double white wire to common and the red wire
to Normally Open (NO).
1 Turn the MDL over, and connect the wire connectors to the
door lock and the door unlock switches.
2 Push the MDL part way into the unit and connect the MDL
wires.
3 Use a T-20 Torx bit to install the MDL mounting screws.
4 Place the MDL cover with the connected module onto the
MDL.
5 Use a T-20 Torx bit to install the MDL cover mounting
screws.
LOWER OVEN MOTOR DOOR LOCK REMOVAL
WARNING
Disconnect the product from the power source
before starting this procedure.
To remove the lower oven motor door lock, first remove:
1 Upper oven door

Upper air inlet cover
3
Middle air inlet cover
4 Cover collar
5
Middle vent channel
Remove the Motor Door Lock (MDL) for the Lower Oven
1 Use a T-20 Torx bit to remove the MDL mounting screws.
2 Pull the MDL forward and disconnect the wire connectors
from the MDL.
3 Turn the MDL over and disconnect the wire connectors from
the door lock and door unlock switches.
