1. Before cutting:
•
These rechargeable shears are for maintaining lawn edges as well as small areas of lawn on private property
and should not be used for public facilities, parks, sporting fields, streets etc.; they also should not be used for
agricultural or forestry applications.
•
Because of the hazard of bodily injury to the user rechargeable shears should not be used:
- for trimming bushes, hedges, and shrubbery
- for pulverizing in the sense of composting
•
For safety reasons persons under 16 years of age and persons that are not familiar with the operation may not use
these rechargeable shears.
•
The device may not be operated if people (especially children) or animals are in the immediate vicinity; you are
responsible for damages.
•
Only use the battery powered shears in daylight or with good artificial lighting.
•
Before trimming lawn areas or lawn edges remove foreign objects such as branches/ rocks, wire, etc.
•
While trimming please watch out for foreign objects. If an immovable object blocks the blade, then turn off the
shears immediately and remove the object.

Inspect the tool:

2. Charging shears:
•
Do not charge the device outside.
•
The device may not be charged while in operation.
•
Use only the original WOLF charger (part number 7086 078).
3. When trimming:
•
Only turn the motor on when hands and feet are not in the vicinity of the cutting head.
•
Even when the battery is empty an injury hazard still remains through a residual charge.
•
The switching mechanisms installed on the device may not be removed or bypassed, for example binding the
handle or taping down the safety button.
•
Always wear suitable work clothes, no loose clothes etc. that could be snagged by the cutting tool. Wear sturdy
shoes with good tread! Also protect your legs (for example by wearing long pants), and your hands (gloves), wear
protective goggles!
