The wireless communication of the Withings Body Comp is supported
by BLE and Wi-Fi communication. This communication is established
between the Withings Body Comp and the Withings application. The
communication between the Withings Body Comp and the Withings
application is encrypted through an exchange of a paired key.
The communication latency between the Body Comp and the
Withings application takes less than 10 seconds when the Body
Comp and the smartphone are less than 16 feet (5 meters) apart.
The communication between the Withings Body Comp and the
Withings application is not modified with sources of interference
located within 5 meters. Wireless coexistence has been tested i
n accordance with the following standards:
- ANSI C63.27:2017 and,
- AAMI TIR69:2017
Electromagnetic disturbances have been tested in accordance
with the standard IEC 60601-1-2:2014.
