III Automatic night economy
Requirements for the automatic night economy mode
Pumps that are built into gas heaters with a lower water
capacity are never to be set to automatic night economy mode.
If the heating system delivers too little heat to the radiators, check if the
automatic night economy mode is activated.
If necessary, disable automatic night economy mode.
To guarantee the proper functioning of the night economy mode,
following requirements have to be met:
1. The pump has to be built into the flow.
2. The heating system has to be equipped with an automatic flow temperature control.
By briefly pressing the

-button, the night economy mode is activated and shown on
the display with this symbol.

By briefly pressing the button again, the function is disabled.
If this operating mode is selected, normal operation mode and night economy mode switch
automatically.
The shift is dependent on the flow temperature.
The pump automatically switches to night economy mode when the flow temperature drops
by more than 10°-15° C within one hour. During night economy mode, the icon for night
economy is flashing. The shift to normal operation mode takes place without delay as soon
as the flow temperature has increased by 3°C again.
Permanent night economy mode
To select this function, the automatic night economy mode has to be enabled first.
If the

-button is pressed for more than 5 seconds; the pump will switch to permanent
night economy mode. This will be indicated on the display by the flashing icon for the night
economy mode.
The pump will permanently remain in reduced operation until:
• the

-button is once more being pressed for longer than 5 seconds.
• to increase the flow temperature
This is when the automatic night economy is activated, as well as
after a power blackout.
