6.7. RDM
As default, all products come with RDM disabled. To use RDM, this must be enabled from within the
W-DMX
TM
Configurator app.
The changes must be done on the transmitter and on each receiver that needs to do downstream
RDM.
6.8. Frequency usage
Sometimes there are cases that require some extra frequency planning. To make this easier for you,
the W-DMX
TM
Configurator app provides a number of pre-set options for frequency usage;
•
Full band
•
Lower or upper half
•
Lower, mid or upper third
Selecting any of these settings, except for
Full band
, limits the device’s frequency hopping so that it
leaves the other parts of the bands untouched.
